Description
Frozen is a photography exhibition consisting of 25 photographs taken during the winter seasons of 2020 and 2021. The following winter, 2022, had little to no snow, at least in Copenhagen.
The exhibition’s purpose is to offer a space of contemplation and encourage an open discussion on the physical and psychological effects of climate change, starting from our shared relationship with snow. The chosen name, Frozen, illustrates both the visual theme and a state of anxiety in the face of an uncertain future. Learning how to be present with the ambivalence between the peace of a moment and the general anxiety and hopelessness of our time is the core of this exhibition's message.
This prints can still be bought on 3 sizes, with the with the frame as part of the the display concept. Please send a short email if interested at danielastoian.mail@proton.me.

Personal
The experience of putting together this exhibition made me continue to reflect on my connection to the environment. Every year since the snow and frozen weather came back and in spite of the harshness it also brought beauty and hope.
